Finally you used my advice, using exit(); after a header.
As always, following your tutorials!
I have found it useful and have given it a 5-star rating!
Thanks a lot Alex!
Your tutorials are great, thanks!
That helped me a lot, thanks!
But now, how can I modify this so that I’m already logged in when i visit my forum after using this script to login on my website?
is it really important to install php my admin??
That helped me a lot, thanks
phpMyAdmin is just a popular interface for MySQL. It is a popular way of manipulating MySQL databases with most hosting services. I would certainly recommend it as the easiest way of managing MySQL databases using a web interface.
As long as phpBB has been installed properly on your server, you won’t need to install phpMyAdmin at all to make Alex’s example work. He is just using phpMyAdmin to show us the database.
you rock man
thank you!!
yeah this is all correct, and also bare in mind that if you install WAMP, XAMP or LAMP as you generally will if you want to develop websites phpmyadmin is already included
Yes, this is what I want to know as well.
ur great dude thx a lot
awesome A+++
Great tutorial! I was browsing on the internet for a simple way to integrate that kind of information on my website (but even phpbb’s website isn’t too clear regarding this). Anyway, man, you type so freakin’ fast at times it’s inhuman haha.
Thanks!
